Yolanda “Yo Yo” Whittaker

Yolanda “Yo Yo” Whittaker, a South Los Angeles native who shot up the charts with such hits as “You Can’t Play With My Yo Yo” and “The Bonnie and Clyde Theme”, kept another dream alive--to mentor young people with a desire to perform. “I’ve always wanted to work with the community and the kids,” said Whittaker, who opened the doors to The Yo Yo School of Hip Hop in 2011.
